Inspired by the beauty and diversity of the ocean, A Night at Sea is a vibrant underwater scene brought to life in borosilicate glass. The piece features a pair of hammerhead sharks circling above a thriving reef filled with a sea turtle, yellow tangs, seahorses, colorful corals, sea anemones, and hidden starfish, creating a richly detailed aquatic ecosystem. Crafted over more than 25 hours, every sculpted element contributes to the immersive underwater composition. Intricate space-tech prep, dichroic glass, colored rod work, and powdered glass accents add depth and movement throughout the piece, blending technical craftsmanship with a celebration of marine life.
